Project Statement

Vinu, situated in the Rochester Art District, is a sophisticated vineyard-inspired restaurant promoting New York’s farmlands through its wine centered dining experience. Focusing on engaging all of the senses to create a socializing hub where patrons feel welcome, comfortable, and open to connecting with others.

Design Goals

• Utilizing warm, earthy tones and natural materials

• Open spaces and comfortable seating to encourage socialization and interaction

• Incorporating elements of nature to bring a sense of vitality to the space

• Subtle wine-themed elements to reinforce the restaurants focus on wine and farm-to-table dining

• Creating a focal point to draw patrons into the space, while also allowing spaces to be flexible
