Project Statement

The Pink Cloud created by Henri Edmond Cross captures nature’s beauty through dreamlike and poetic imagery. It evokes harmony and peace through abstract forms and vibrant colors. Translating this piece into an architectural form, aiming to create a whimsical, dreamlike effect to showcase the paintings essence.

Design Goals

Capture the beauty and complexity of dreams through lighting and form
Invoking beautiful confusion, allowing views to experience the painting’s essence in a tangible form
Mirror the fluidity and unpredictability of dreams, featuring curved forms, organic shapes, and asymmetrical structures
Blurring the lines between reality and imagination
